The 2016 SoundSport Summer season will see the return of SoundSport Atlanta.
Held on Saturday, July 30th in the Georgia dome, this third-year competition will give participants the opportunity to perform at one of the largest events on the annual Drum Corps International Tour. In addition, each participant will receive a reserved ticket to the DCI Southeastern Championships to watch the complete World Class lineup meet for a second time in 2016.
Each SoundSport ensemble consists of 5 or more members of any age and any instrumentation. Their musical performance is between five and seven minutes staged on a 30 yd by 20 yd performance area. This SoundSport competition will also feature DrumLine Battle teams, creating an exciting, high energy and entertaining event for both participants and spectators!
Registration for all U.S.-based SoundSport events will open in early December. All interested participants can contact soundsport@dci.org for more information.
