SoundSport® Fans- the 2014 season is approaching quickly! By the Numbers, the 2014 competition season will consist of 6 brand new competitions, with over 75 teams participating internationally.

This summer will see 4 SoundSport® events in the United States. Located in San Antonio, TX, Huntsville, AL, Atlanta, GA, and Indianapolis, IN, these events will feature musical ensembles from all around the world.

Each SoundSport® team consists of anywhere between 5 to 50 members of any age and any instrumentation. Teams will each play 5 minute to 7 minute performances on a 30 yard by 20 yard performance area. Each of these SoundSport competitions will also feature DrumLine Battle competitions, creating an exciting, high energy and entertaining event for both participants and sponsors! Admission to all US SoundSport® competitions is free with the purchase of a ticket to that day’s Drum Corps International Tour Event.

2014 will also bring to life two international SoundSport® events: one in Shanghai, China and another in Okayama, Japan. In just one year, SoundSport® has seen the formation of 18 international teams, many of which may perform in these two international events.
