Founded on November 20, 2010, the Brazilian Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps  exists with the mission to develop the Drum Corps activity in Brazil and give young Brazilian students the experience of marching in a Drum Corps.

Living in a poor country with restricted opportunities to young people, our founders believed that the activity is one path to develop strong values to make our society better; that a student that marches in a Drum Corps will learn to control themselves, to achieve high level of performance throughout hard work, attention to detail and striving for perfection. All of this combined with friendship, ethic, respect and teamwork can help make you the best that you can be. This kind of experience will then later on show that the member is now a  good and strong man and woman to build a better society.

The Brazilian Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps has survived, financially, with the donation of the Founders, Staff, and Parents. Now, we are under a Government Program Incentive that allows Private Companies donate part of their income tax to our Organization. This is possible because we have 4 years of uninterrupted work and we served more than 300 young adults during these 4 years.

All of our Staff and members are really excited with the possibility to become part of the SoundSport program.
